Not that I am for one minute comparing the biggest amphibious assault in history to my (comparative) piffling house sale issues, but for me, right now, it is a big day.

Sold my house of 10 years. Transferred half the money out to pay for the boat I’ve been hankering after for 4 months, Forever Friends – 36ft Westerly Corsair. I am one happy man.

Hopefully pick her up tomorrow, fair winds and tides permitting.
